December Meeting
The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 1st at 7:00 pm in the Tensaw Theater at Five Rivers.
Amanda Cox, Engineer with Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding , is bringing a cypress strip 12' canoe that she is in the process of building. Amanda is an expert in wood construction and is using a very unique technique to build this canoe. Come look at this canoe and hear the details from Amanda on its construction! Also, Rob Nykvist will give us an overview of the excellent web resources he has developed on Local Launch Sites in our area.

November Notes
MBCKC held its Third Annual Photo Contest and a pot-luck dinner. There was plenty of good food and good photos to be shared. Thank you to Juli Day for all her efforts to make this event possible. Also, a big thank you to those sponsors who donated the prizes for the photo contest. Some really nice prizes were distributed. Prizes for the photo contest were donated by: Fairhope Boat Co., Alabama Outdoors, West Marine, Calagaz Photo, and Maggie Pyle. Another thanks to all of those who helped 'count votes'.
