August Notes and Paddle Information

September Meeting - Update:
Anna Keene's presentation has been postponed until the October 7th meeting. Steve Delker will still be giving his briefing on safety.
The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, Sept 2, 2008 at 7pm at the Tensaw Theater/Five Rivers Delta Resource Center. Anna Keene of Alabama Coastal Foundation will be giving a presentation on their organization and some specifics of the Coastwatch program (which could give us kayakers a chance to volunteer for specific duties in different areas of the coast). Her presentation will also include information on the wonderful Osprey Trail they are currently working on.
Additionally, Steve Delker, US Coast Guard Reserve, and long-time club member, will be giving a brief talk on safety on the water
