Paddles
July 30th - Magnolia River paddle.
Notes:  Saturday, July 30 at 9 am. Meet in the city of Magnolia Springs at the Shell station at the corner of Highway 98 and county/city road 49 ( careful, 49 comes out in two
places---go to the Shell station). We'll drive together the short distance to the Rock Street put
in. We'll help each other carry our boats 50 yards or so to the river's edge. Let's paddle
downstream this time and admire the homes, boathouses and boats. We'll go beyond the wake/
no wake designation, but folks on the Magnolia tend to be polite. There's a marsh we'll go by
and possibly into. Bring pfd, sunscreen, water, and perhaps bug spry or a snack. Email or call
Nancy (990-5575) and give her your contact info if you want to be notified of changes in plans.
It doesn't commit you to come. Near the time of the paddle only, I'll have my dumb cell phone
on (251-454-6084). Nancy Ward
