The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 4th, 7 pm in the Tensaw Theater at Five Rivers Delta Resource Center. Maggie Pyle, MBCKC member, will present on the Alabama Scenic River Trail's recent "Demopolis-Black Warrior Nature Paddle" paddle trip on the Black Warrior River.
We had another good turn-out for the May meeting. Paddle reports/tales were shared. Tracy Lannie presented the mini-slide show presentation on the club's Full Moon Paddles which are generally held every month beginning March - November.
Finally! I am able to post the this blog site and update things! Sorry for the long delay, but there have been some changes and this blog still does not like Internet Explorer! Please have patience while the blogger learns how to navigate through all these changes, believe me, it is much easier to navigate from my kayak!
*Volunteers wanted to lead/conduct MBCKC meetings. Presently, July is
the next available opening. If you would like to conduct a meeting,
please contact Tracy Lannie, MBCKC coordinator, at 463-4233 or

Paddles and Events
Full Moon Paddle: If anyone is interested in leading a Full Moon Paddle in June, please feel free to do so. Tracy Lannie normally heads one up, but will be unable to do so this month. By the way, the actual full moon is the night of our club meeting, but Monday, 06/03, would be a great time because the moon rises a little earlier.
