December's Notes and Paddles
January Meeting
The next meeting will be on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at the Tensaw Delta Theater with the all new "Meet, Greet, & Eat" beginning at 6:45 pm and the program beginning at 7pm. Ms. Karen Jordan, Instructor, USA Earth Sciences, will provide information on the sport of geocaching. Also, Dr. Mimi Fearn, Department Chair, USA Earth Sciences, will talk about "Dog River Activities".
December Notes and Paddles
Good food and good 'paddle tales' were shared at December's meeting. The club presented Harriet with a 'kayak photo-memory book' in recognition of her outstanding contributions to and support of our club. We also welcomed our new club president, Maggie Pyle. Maggie will begin leading our meetings in January under the guidance of Harriet.
