Time: 8 a.m. to noon
Contact: Dr. Mimi Fearn Phone: 251-460-7573 Email: firstname.lastname@example.org Comments: If you all are not committed already to a Coastal Cleanup site, the Dog River Clearwater Revival would welcome any of our members who can bring our canoes/kayaks to Dog River on September 18. The Dog River site is at Luscher (Navco) Park. The cleanup starts at 8 and lasts until noon. Dog River Clearwater Revival hosts a picnic starting around 11:00 for all volunteers. IN OTHER NEWS
Print Version of the Club list
Juli Day, 479-8368, firstname.lastname@example.org is revising the print version of the club list. This is entirely voluntary; if you don't want to be in print, you don't have to offer your name. This is an alternative method for our members to contact one another if e-mail is not an option. If you know someone who does not use e-mail, but they would like to call or be called about paddle trips, pass this information along to them so they can be on the list.
Club Drinking Glasses
Harriet proposes that we order a quantity of insulated tumblers with the club logo on them. The one she held up at the meeting a clear, double-walled drinking glass that is sized to fit in most vehicle cup holders. (But will it fit in a Perception's cup holder?) Let her know how many you want; she is just taking a count at this stage to see what interest there is in the club. E-mail Hvk1457@aol.com
Kayak for Sale
