David McNeese writes us:
I have for the past few months been putting together a new business and now have got everything in place. The name of the company is Southern Kayaks - please see www.southernkayaks.com. I will be doing half- and full-day guided paddles in and around Perdido Key and Orange Beach area. I also sell Mirage sea kayaks, Seda Kayaks, and Fenn Mako xt surf skis. I only carry composite boats, fiberglass and kevlar. (My boats for guided trips are composite as well)

I would be able to sell club members a great composite boat at a very good price. If they are members of the club I will give them a great deal. (Please make certain they tell me they are members!)

I would like to set up a time in May or early June to bring some of the boats to Fairhope and let anyone take them on a demo paddle.
