Larry Mickelsen writes us:
Went down to Mayday Park and checked out the pier fishermen. One of them had two reds in his bucket. If they are catching reds off of the pier then theyer must be some out around the pilings. Who wants to give it a shot? I have been watching the water at the park and it has been real nice, no wind, no chop, and no cold weather. If the weather keeps up I will be there in the water ready to go at 0700 on the Tuesday, March 9. Bring your own bait. This will be a real easy paddle, You wont have to paddle over 1/4 of a mile at the max, and if you are new and unsure of yourself, don't worry, if you fall out of your boat you can wade to the beach. :)
