Flash Paddle: Upper Fish River

Comments: Directions- For those coming from Mobile, take I-10 east to Malbis exit 38, turn right (south) until you get to the stop sign at Co. Rd. 32. For those who want to meet at the put-in, turn left (east) on CR 32 until before the Fish River Bridge. Turn right before the bridge, then left on Keeney Dr. E. to the County Mitigation Property. We will paddle up Fish River and explore Cowpen Creek and/or Polecat Creek as well. Bring fluids, lunch, bug spray and sunscreen. This will be an easy paddle of about 5-6 miles for both kayaks and canoes. We will return to the put-in at approx. 3:00 PM.
