Flash Paddle: Magnolia River
Date: Saturday, March 27, 2004
Time: 9:00 AM
Place: Exxon @ Hwy 98 & Magnolia Springs Hwy (southeast of Fairhope)
Contact: Brint Adams - Home 626-4940 or cell 583-9919
Comments: We will drive a few blocks to the County water access at the end of Rock St. Depending on group concensus, we will either duplicate last November's one-way trip out Magnolia River and up along the eastern shore of Weeks Bay to the take-out at the Hwy 98 bridge, or out Magnolia River and back to the put-in. Afterwards, for those interested, we will eat lunch at Jesse's. The trip time should be about 2.5 hrs. Bring fluids, hat, sunscreen and bugspray. This will be low-key and suitable for beginners and those wanting to see springtime flowers and wildlife on the Magnolia.

What would the club think of a paddle up D'Olive Creek on Friday 4/2/04 so we could make a showing for the opening of the boardwalk and trail? Might be neat, and a short paddle also. Red Boat Mickelsen, baywaterboy@aol.com
