The Bluegrass Wildwater Association and National Paddling Film Festival invite us:
Come to the 21st National Paddling Film Festival (NPFF), February 28, in downtown Lexington, Kentucky!
Saturday February 28, 10 am to 6 pm, in the Kentucky Theater, amateur and professional films on all aspects of paddlesports will compete in the NPFF, one of the longest running river conservation fundraisers in the country. Competitive kayaker, radical paddler and cutting edge boat designer Corran Addison will be our Special Guest Host, discussing his newest video project “Legend of the Falls,” and the challenges involved in filming extreme sports.
Also at the festival will be a competition of still images, and an auction of paddling gear and accessories. Saturday night starting at 9 pm, there will be an Awards Party at the nearby Limestone Club. There will be live music, and surprise celebrity presenters.
Tickets for the Film Festival are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. The Awards Party is $10. Tickets to both the show and the party are $15 in advance and $20 at the festival.
