Preparations for the Fourth of July Fireworks Paddle
It is an annual tradition for Gene Boothe to lead a paddle from the Fairhope Yacht Club to the Municipal Pier for the Fourth of July Fireworks. Basically, we pull up on a sandbar by the pier and eat potluck off our boat decks, while standing ankle-deep in water and watching the fireworks. It is a blast.

Ingrid Smith and Dottie McClurg have volunteered to coordinate the food for this year's fireworks potluck. Please either give Ingrid a call at 928-8940, or e-mail Dottie at dottiemc@aol.com, to tell them what you plan to bring as food, drink, or tableware. Ingrid and Dottie will sort out who is or should be bringing what.

That way, we won't end up with, oh, say, ten batches of potato salad but no forks. :-)

Thank you Ingrid and Dottie for taking charge of this!
