In addition, Bob will lead a full moon paddle before June 14.

And planning ahead to July:

Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, July 1, at 7:00 p.m., at the Fairhope Yacht Club. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month, same time, same place.

It is an annual tradition for Gene to lead a Fourth of July Fireworks Paddle, and it is a paddle you do not want to miss. Further details will be forthcoming after the next meeting, if not before. Basically, every year we put in at the Fairhope Yacht Club around sunset and paddle to a sandbar by the Fairhope Municipal Pier, where we eat potluck on our boat decks and watch the fireworks.

I have received conflicting reports on when the Second Annual Dog Paddle (on Dog River) will be held. Somebody at the meeting last night said July 19, and somebody e-mailed me saying August 16. Contact Mimi Ferni at 460-7573 for further information.

I (Julie) am sorry I missed the club meeting tonight. Thanks to Bruce for taking notes!
