Full Moon Paddle
Date: Friday, June 13
Time: 6:30 p.m.
Contact: Bob Andrews, home: 344-8664, cell: 367-4144
Place: put in at Buzbee's Fish Camp, on Highway 225 north of Spanish Fort, on the south end of the bridge over Bay Minette Creek
Comments: Launch fee is $3. This will be a short, easy paddle. Plan to join us for dinner at a restaurant on the Causeway after the paddle, if you'd like. Bring your PFD and a single white light (a flashlight is fine) -- but don't plan on using the latter. The law requires us to carry a white light on any boat after sunset, and you'll be glad you did whenever you encounter power boats after dark, but we ask that you not turn on the light unless it's needed. It's so much more pleasant in the moonlight, and a white electric light spoils everybody's night vision.
There's nothing like a full moon paddle.
