Bob Andrews announced at the last meeting that Tony Chavers of Fairhope Boat (and a club member) has opened another boat shop, this one in Pensacola. It's called Pensacola Kayak, and it's on Bayou Chico. (Bayou Chico is a pretty cool paddle, too -- Bruce and I did it this fall.)

We've also heard from another club member who's in the paddling biz:
Tony Kramer writes us:

I just wanted to get the word out to the MBCAKC that anyone wanting to come up to Atlanta and do some paddling on Lake Jocassee or Lake Fontana this winter I will offer special deals to club members. I am also offering some cold weather classes to get those hardcore paddlers on the water year round. Anyone wanting more info about the trips and classes can check out my web site at: www.theseakayaker.com

Some pages are still under construction but the tours page, with details about the Jocassee and Fontana trips, is up and running.

Thanks.
