24 - The West Florida Canoe Club invites us to join them for their Summer Party on the Pensacola Naval Base Blue Angel Recreation Ares (Pavilion 2) on Perdido Bay. 10:00 a.m. til. 1 - Escatawpa River Cleanup. 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Meet at Sunshine Canoes' landing, 13 miles west of the entrance light at the Mobile Airport. Bring lunch, sunglasses, sunscreen, gloves, water shoes, and a long-handled crab net if you have one. 3 - MBCAKC membership meeting. 7:00 p.m. at the Fairhope Yacht Club.
4 - Independence Day. Family activities at FYC all day, including paddling races. More information to be provided at July meeting.
4 - Fireworks Paddle. Depart Fairhope Yacht Club beach at 7:00 p.m. Paddle along the shoreline to the Fairhope Municipal Pier Marine to view fireworks. Bring flashlight/boat light to use on return. Contact: Gene Booth 928-1107.
